Where can I find African Crowned Eagle
 in Uganda?

They are a widespread resident of sub-Saharan Africa. In Uganda, they can be found in central to southern part. It mainly inhabits dense forests.

African Crowned Eagles are very huge and are one of the biggest birds of prey in Africa.

They are becoming rare because they are found in Africa’s dwindling forests and because they have that attitude of ain-ism (from the bible), only one chick is raised.
The first chick to be born is lucky to survive because it kills its siblings! This means that it will have enough to eat.  It takes 3-4 years to acquire its adult plumage.

Crowned Eagles have wingspans of 180cm.
They are 92cm long.
Just like most other raptors, females are lager than males.

Their favorite meal is primates.

I would call this bird the king of forests because of the way it hunts making monkeys dive for their lives.
